Auto-Renewal Subscription Agreement

Welcome to the Yaowise VIP membership auto-renewal service.

This Auto-Renewal Subscription Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into between you (the "member" or "user") and Yaowise, operated by Beijing (Huoli) Firegrain Cultural Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "Yaowise"). It supplements, and forms an integral part of, the Yaowise Terms of Service. If any conflict arises between this Agreement and the Terms of Service in respect of the auto-renewal service, this Agreement prevails.

Please read this Agreement carefully before subscribing, especially the clauses shown in bold, which concern your material rights (such as billing authorization, how to cancel, and the refund policy). By selecting a subscription plan, tapping the subscribe button, and completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement, and it takes legal effect between you and Yaowise.

If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, please do not subscribe to the auto-renewal service.

If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), please read this Agreement together with a parent or legal guardian, and subscribe only with their consent.

AI interpretation content in the app is generated using a third-party large language model (the Tongyi Qianwen / Qwen model API provided via Alibaba Cloud). AI-generated content is for reference and entertainment only and does not constitute professional advice of any kind.

2. Service Description

  1. The auto-renewal service means that, after you actively subscribe to a monthly or annual plan and complete payment authorization through the Apple App Store, your Yaowise VIP membership will automatically renew for the next billing period so that your benefits continue without interruption.
  2. This service is designed to spare you from manual renewal and from losing access if you forget to renew.
  3. Billing is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. Renewal charges do not require you to re-enter your payment details each period.

3. Subscription Plans & Pricing

The Yaowise VIP auto-renewal service may offer different billing periods, such as monthly and annual plans. The plan name, billing period, renewal price, any introductory offer, and the applicable rules are those displayed in the Yaowise app at the time you subscribe.

Prices are shown in your local currency where supported. Any applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Apple in accordance with the App Store rules for your region.

If we adjust the plans or prices of the auto-renewal service, we will notify you in advance through in-app messages, push notifications, or other reasonable means. If you do not agree to the change, you may cancel the auto-renewal service before the new price takes effect. If you do not cancel and continue to use the service, you are deemed to accept the change. A price change also takes effect only after Apple has obtained your renewed consent where required by the App Store.

3.1 Upgrading and Downgrading

You may change between monthly and annual plans. Plan changes, proration, and the timing of any credit are handled by Apple according to the App Store's subscription rules for upgrades, downgrades, and crossgrades.

4. Membership Benefits

After subscribing to the Yaowise VIP auto-renewal service, you may enjoy the membership benefits of the corresponding tier, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Increased AI interpretation quota: a higher daily usage allowance than free users.
  • VIP identity badge: your profile displays the VIP badge for your tier.
  • Additional VIP-exclusive benefits that may be added from time to time.

The specific content of each benefit (including but not limited to daily quota values, unlockable interpretation styles, and exclusive feature scope) is as displayed in the Yaowise app at the time you subscribe. We reserve the right to adjust the specific content of membership benefits as required by law, by rights holders, or by our operational strategy, and will notify you in advance through in-app messages or push notifications before any such change takes effect.

5. Auto-Renewal & Billing Rules

5.1 Renewal Authorization

Once you subscribe, your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges your Apple ID account for renewal within the 24-hour period before the current period ends, using the payment method on file with Apple. This authorization continues until you cancel.

5.2 Billing Period

The billing period is monthly or annual, depending on the plan you select at the time of subscription.

5.3 Billing Time & Grace Period

5.4 Failed Renewal

If a renewal charge fails (for example, due to an expired payment method or insufficient funds), Apple may retry the charge and may offer a billing grace period during which your benefits are retained. If payment is still not completed after Apple's grace period ends, your VIP benefits will be suspended or will lapse.

5.5 Continuation After a Successful Charge

Each time a renewal charge succeeds, your VIP membership is extended by one billing period and you continue to enjoy all VIP benefits.

6. Free Trials & Introductory Offers

Where a free trial or introductory offer is available, its eligibility, duration, and the price that applies after it ends are as displayed in the app at the time you subscribe. If you do not cancel before a free trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and Apple charges the applicable price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

7. How to Cancel

You may cancel the auto-renewal service at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; your current benefits continue until the end of the period you have already paid for. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

7.1 Cancel from within the Yaowise app

  1. Open the Yaowise app.
  2. Go to "Settings" → "Membership" (or Membership Center → Manage Subscription).
  3. Tap "Manage Subscription"; the app opens the iOS system subscription page.
  4. Select "Yaowise" and tap "Cancel Subscription".

7.2 Cancel from iOS Settings

  1. Open the iOS "Settings" app.
  2. Tap your name (Apple ID) at the top.
  3. Tap "Subscriptions".
  4. Select "Yaowise" and tap "Cancel Subscription".

Please note: a charge already initiated before you complete cancellation remains valid, and amounts already charged before cancellation is completed are not refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's policies.

8. Refund Policy

Yaowise VIP membership is a digital service that takes effect immediately upon successful purchase. Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, fees already charged for the current period are non-refundable, and your benefits continue until the end of that period.

  1. After you cancel, no further charges arise for future periods.
  2. All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests for App Store purchases must be submitted to Apple and are decided by Apple under its own refund policy. Yaowise cannot issue or override Apple refunds. Submit a request at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
  3. If you believe you were charged in error, please also contact us at support@yaowise.com and we will assist where we can.

9. Service Term, Change & Termination

The auto-renewal service remains in effect from the date you subscribe until any of the following occurs:

  1. you cancel the auto-renewal service as described in Section 7;
  2. renewal charges fail repeatedly beyond Apple's grace period;
  3. we decide to terminate the service as required by law or by our operational strategy; or
  4. your membership relationship with Yaowise is otherwise terminated.

We may adjust the content of this service (including price, billing period, and rules) as required by law, by rights holders, or by our operational strategy, and will notify you in advance before any such change takes effect. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure or by third-party platform (including Apple) outages beyond our reasonable control.

10. Personal Information

To provide this service, we process certain personal information, such as your account information, subscription records, and renewal records, in accordance with the Yaowise Privacy Policy. Your payment account details are handled directly by Apple; Yaowise does not store your sensitive payment credentials.

11. Changes to This Agreement

We may modify this Agreement as required by changes in law or by business needs. The revised Agreement will be published on this page, and we will notify you through in-app notifications where appropriate. Your continued use of the auto-renewal service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

  1. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding the laws of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your country or region of residence.
  2. The parties shall first seek to resolve any dispute amicably. Nothing in this Agreement limits any statutory right you may have to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence where such right cannot be waived.
  3. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
  4. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

This Agreement takes effect when you first use the Yaowise VIP auto-renewal service. We may update it as the law or our business changes; the updated Agreement will be published on this page and notified through the app.
